Why there is no download link for other alleycats songs?
Anonymous : It is our policy to not give download option to all the songs in a certain album. Buy Alleycats album and support them. We will try to resolve our problem with the songs streaming
Hi, Vanakkam.
I’m a loyal fan of the legendary Alleycats wish to inform everyone that Alleycats NEVER EVER recorded and released a Tamil album. They did sang a few Tamil song during shows. The only original Tamil song written for them that they recorded and included in their 20th Malay album was Chinnaneh Periyanneh. This album, titled ALLEYCATS 20, was released in 1993 contains 10 Malay songs with this tamil song.
So, that so called Tamil album is done by someone else. Its not Datuk DAVID ARUMUGAM or Datuk LOGANATHAN’s voice at all. The die hard fans can easily recognise their voice. Datuk DAVID even has clearly mentioned this during his interview on VIZHUTUKAL program on Astro.

Kannan : Vanakam buddy, Thanks for pointing out, the facts and our mistakes in the post. Yeah, We know that AlleyCats never have been recorded nor released any TAMIL ALBUM but we were informed these songs featured in their albums. It seems we gotta it wrongly. Thanks again. It would be great if you could help us to find out who really sang these songs aLL. We will correct our post in coming days with proper info. aLLeyCats 4eva (";)
Javakid, Thks for your prompt response. That 'so call Tamil album' was actually titled 'ALLEYCATS IN TAMIL' and was released in the 90's. I heard the singer was someone by the name of Seelan frm Penang. He belonged to a group called BLACK CATS. I don't really know the actual details abt this. Maybe all of them liked Alleycats very much and prompted them to come up with an idea to release this Tamil album. But the only 'sin' that cannot be forgiven that they did was using Alleycats' ORIGINAL Minus One music, recorded this Tamil version of Alleycats' popular Malay songs and the worst part by naming the album as 'ALLEYCATS IN TAMIL'. I just don't know how they got away with this. Whatever the reason was for doing this album, its still wrong to put the legends name there. You can dupe or cheat everyone but not the diehard fan like me.

We must be really very proud with the legendary Alleycats' achievement in local music industry. Its absolutely unique and extraordinary to accomplish such a stage. For sure, nobody can ever break their achievement record.
